It is an honor for Fredericia Chess Association in collaboration with the Danish Chess Union to be allowed to co-organize the Nordic Championships for Girls.
And it is a special joy to see Greenland among the participating nations. The country became a member of FIDE at the Chess Olympics in Budapest in September 2024. And is now participating in a championship for the first time.
I hope that all the players and fellow travelers have some good days in Fredericia – we will certainly do everything to make it happen.
